The best trip Grace and I have ever taken. We spent five weeks driving from Capetown through Swaziland, the Transkei and up to Jo-berg and 
Pretoria.
I'll post highlights, etc. but this is my incredibly anal itinerary spreadsheet. It lists all the details and logistics for South African safaris, hostels/ hotels, tours, treks, diving, etc.
Basically all the places we stayed and all the things we did. The page numbers either refer to the frommers or rough guides (both which we used, frommers for high level plans, rough for detailed info; If you're driving, a map is also absolutely critcal)

Here's a picture of sheet one of the spreadsheet that layouts day by day the towns, accommodation, and activities. I put down costs where I remembered them.
